Webinar: Introduction to the Assessing Low Carbon Transition (ACT) Initiative

In this short 30-minute webinar, GHGMI host, Tom Baumann, introduces his guests, John Hekman (CDP) and Thomas Gourdon (ADEME), who provide an overview of the ACT initiative. The ACT project includes development a methodology framework and three (3) sector methodologies, which are being piloted by companies in the auto manufacturers, electric utilities and retail sectors. Launched at COP21 in Paris, December 2015, the ACT project takes a holistic view of a company’s operational impacts and supply chain, in measuring and assessing its alignment with a low-carbon transition to 2050.

    I am very interested in this initiative and particularly the possibilities for collaboration with a related business initiative I am leading in Canada that provides SWOT analaysis against a range of energy/climate scenarios to firms on a subscription basis. My schedule will not allow me to attend the webinar next week — will it be recorded for later viewing?
