I am using my credit card to register a colleague for a course. Will they be enrolled in the course?
Is financial aid available?
GHGMI grants financial assistance as funding allows. Due to a high volume of applications, the Institute reserves the right to award scholarships based on need and availability of resources. To learn more and download an application, please visit our financial aid page.
After I purchase a course, diploma program or membership, what are the next steps?
After placing your order for a course, diploma program or premium membership:
- The Registrar’s office will confirm payment and set up the learner’s GHGMI user account; and
- The Registrar’s office will enroll the learner and send an e-mail confirming enrollment with instructions on how to access the course, diploma program or subscription. Please allow 1-2 business days for the registrar’s office to send you your detailed login instructions.
What is the GHGMI Refund Policy?
Do courses begin at a set time?
No. Our online learning platform is available to you 24/7/365. Internet access is required.
Access to your course is available once you receive your login details via email from the Registrar’s office (please allow 1-2 days for your order to be processed after payment is received). There is no set “start” or “end” date for courses. You may access the online classroom, course materials and exams at your leisure and at your own pace.
Please login at least once a year to ensure that your account remains active. Inactive accounts older than one year are automatically deleted from the system.
It is highly recommended that you attempt the exams shortly after completing the course material, while the information is still fresh in your mind.
Upon completing a course, when must I take the exam?
For participants who enrolled in the ‘course and exam’ option, you will be enrolled in the exam at the same time you enrolled in the course. You simply have to click on the corresponding exam in your “My Courses” list to start taking the exam. Be sure you are ready before proceeding to take the exam. The exams are timed and once you start you must complete the exam within the allotted time limit.
If you are enrolled in a diploma program, you will be given access to the exam at at the same time as the course, the difference being you are able to select which courses you want to start, including multiple at the same time, by coordinating with the Registrar. When you enroll in a diploma program, the Registrar will engage you to coordinate your schedule. The Registrar is available by e-mail at email@example.com
