Participants for the course and exam are given one month to complete the course (exception is GHG Verification for Inventories and Projects which is two months) with the assistance of an online instructor and teaching assistant / beadle. The materials are available for a period of one year from course start. Exams must be completed during this one year time period. For example, if you are enrolled in the May class of the Basics of Organizational GHG Accounting course which opens May 1, you will have until April 30 of the next year to review the lessons and finish the exam.

Our courses are online and span one month (exception is GHG Verification for Inventories and Projects which is two months). A class starts at the beginning of the month and finishes at the end of a month. During the class period, there will be an online instructor and training assistant / beadle to assist the class on course-related matters.

It is a set schedule per class. If you enter the course later in the month, you’ll only have until the end of the class to ask questions and get assistance from either the instructor or beadle. With the schedule noted, we would recommend taking the June class instead so you’ll benefit more from the assistance that the instructor and beadle provide.

Participants will be enrolled in a class on opening day, which is typically the first day of the month the class starts. On class opening day, participants will receive a welcome email message and upon logging in to the member site, the enrolled course, as scheduled, will be added in the list of accessible courses of the participant. I.e., log in to the Member Site and click on the “My Courses” link to view your current list of courses.
