Offset Quality Initiative Reports

The Institute was a founding organization and member of the Offset Quality Initiative (OQI), which was created in November 2007 to provide leadership on GHG offset policy and best practices. OQI is a collaborative, consensus-based effort that brings together the collective expertise of six nonprofit member organizations, the others being: The Climate Trust, Pew Center on Global Climate Change, Climate Action Reserve, the American Carbon Registry/Winrock International, and The Climate Group. The Offset Quality Initiative has developed several influential consensus-based reports with funding from the Energy Foundation.
