Schedule
Questions about class schedules.
The instructor access period lasts for the first month of class (with the exception of GHG Verification for Inventories and Projects, which has a two-month instructor access period). The instructor is available during this time to lead discussions, post questions, and answer any course-related queries learners may have. After this time, the instructor will no longer be available and the class discussion forum will not be monitored. We advise learners to take advantage of this opportunity to interact with an expert and their classmates online. If you enrolled later in the month, you will only have until the end of the month to ask questions and receive assistance from the instructor.
Courses begin at the first of the month; however, if you are provided with early access, you can review the materials as soon as you’re able to log in. First-time learners are enrolled in the “Maximixing eLearning” module; this course provides an introduction to the eLearning format. We recommend learners review this module before taking their GHGMI courses.
On or around the first of the month, learners will receive a welcome email from their Learning Assistant. The instructor will post an introductory message to the class forum, and encourage participants to do the same. You will receive regular email updates whenever anyone in your class posts to the discussion forum.
Course rescheduling and withdrawal policies are available on the Scheduling Courses page. If you have questions at any time, please email registrar@ghginstitute.org.
At the end of the instructor access period (the first month of class for most courses with the exception of GHG Verification for Inventories and Projects, which is the second month of class), participants who have purchased access to the proficiency exam will be enrolled in the exam module and notified via email. Learners have one year to submit their exam. >.
