David Sigler , Managing Director

David is responsible for operational and financial management of the Institute. Mr. Sigler brings over 28 years of experience in the areas of executive management, product management, project management, financial management, marketing, sales, and software development to the role.

Over the past ten years David has focused on products and technologies for the Internet, including heading the design and development of: an online university; an Internet Software as a Service (SaaS) product; a customer satisfaction and loyalty system; and various e-learning and blended learning technologies.

He has held positions as a CEO, CFO, COO, and CTO for organizations in such diverse industries as software, environmentally responsible electronic waste services, market research, and learning technologies.

David spent nine years with Newbridge Networks Corporation (now Alcatel-Lucent) in various capacities, including project management, business process design, and product development. Additionally, he was Newbridge’s in-house project management trainer for two years.

David has shared his expertise in new product development project management as a conference speaker. He is a seasoned entrepreneur, having founded four companies, including a learning consulting practice, an educational software products company, a business portfolio management software company, and a customer satisfaction and loyalty services company.

David holds an MBA from Lansbridge University  and a Math and Computer Science degree from Carleton University.
