This course provides an overview of existing GHG verification approaches and a step-by-step process to planning, executing, and completing a GHG verification.

Many governments and organizations are taking action to manage their greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions that are a cause of climate change. Verifying GHG emissions inventories, carbon credit projects, supply chain carbon footprints, and other activities provide assurance to stakeholders about the validity of performance claims.

The material in this course uses ISO 14064 Part 3 as a framework for organizing and instructing your lessons on GHG verification. This ISO standard is a policy-neutral and program-neutral International Standard. Each learner will be able to download a personal copy of ISO 14064: Part 3 as part of this course.
