Over the past 25 years, he has participated in over 20 software development and optimization projects at both the national and international levels, serving as a system architect and software developer. This experience includes extensive work in website design and implementation, as well as database design and implementation.
Thematically, his projects covered a wide range of activities. Examples of his work included:
- Activity data platform for GHG calculations and climate policies (SAGE) for collecting and documenting data to achieve transparent, accurate, consistent, comparable, and complete GHG inventories, activity data analysis for inventory and policy purposes, and filling data gaps;
- Decision support system for the international Climate Change negotiations, including various scenario analyses in all GHG inventory sectors, different metrics and gas baskets, cost-benefit analysis associated with different abatement scenarios, and GHG emissions forecasting under different scenarios;
- Climate MRV platform for repository and visualization of GHG emissions, emission projections under different scenarios, and mitigation analysis;
- Systems supporting factory management and 3D industrial design;
- Smart Card payment systems for commercial banks;
- Various web applications for different clients.
Alexander is currently involved in the collaborative project on the design and implementation of the integrated climate MRV portal. In these projects, he performed system architecture, database design and development, system design, implementation, and software development using various platforms, frameworks, content management systems (CMS), and programming languages. The most recent projects were implemented using the LAMP stack with PHP, JavaScript, SQL, CSS, HTML, Laminas, Dojo, and other frameworks.
