The Greenhouse Gas Management Institute (GHGMI) and Eco Canada are proud to invite you to an exclusive joint webinar unveiling the upcoming Environmental Professional (GHG)—EP(GHG) designation. This groundbreaking credential is designed to address urgent gaps in the greenhouse gas (GHG) management workforce and provide trusted recognition for professionals driving the global low-carbon transition.

Why This Matters

The world is demanding more reliable expertise in GHG accounting, reporting, analysis, and verification. From Paris Agreement reporting to net-zero transition planning, ESG disclosures, and carbon markets, the need for well-trained, ethical practitioners has never been greater.

The EP(GHG) designation is the first professional certification of its kind—setting a new global benchmark for competence and integrity in GHG management.

By earning this certification, professionals will:

  • Gain international recognition in a growing field
  • Demonstrate verified expertise to employers, clients, and regulators
  • Join a trusted network of GHG leaders
  • Elevate credibility for their organizations and projects

Mon travail actuel sur l’inventaire des gaz à effet de serre dans le secteur déchet est un atout qui m’incite à suivre ce webinaire

    Hello,

Will a recording of the webinar be made available? I am not able to join as the broadcast will occur in the early morning in my time zone (AEST).

    Cheers

    • Ash Merscher

Hi Leon! Yes, we’ll send a recording of the webinar. We’ll add you to the list so you receive it and also get details on the follow-up webinar later this year. Thanks for your interest!

  • I am keen to be part of the GHGMI as a trainer. I am happy to support matters to do with GHG in Africa, and be a trainer..

    Hello,

This certification effort seems to undercut what is already taking place with the Carbon Accounting Alliance (CAA) group and the Institute of Sustainability and Environmental Professionals (ISEP). The CAA group already has almost 1,000 members worldwide. ISEP supported by CAA, is establishing the Carbon Accounting and Auditors Register (CAAR). Shouldn’t we (as a collective professionals group) try to maintain one single certification organization?

    • Ash Merscher

Hi Zoe! Thank you for your comment—we’d love to discuss this with you on a call. Please check your email!

It would be great to find out more about this.
