Collaborate with us on forward-looking independent research. Pairing the expertise and experience of our staff and faculty with an extensive practitioner network, our research focuses on foundational areas of GHG accounting, international capacity development, climate policy, and the practice of carbon management. Much of today’s research on climate change has focused on climate science (e.g., atmospheric science and impacts) or policy design issues (e.g., the economics of cap-and-trade). GHGMI considers the questions that arise from the challenge of policy implementation. Through discussion papers, peer-reviewed publishing, and workshops, we drive intelligent discourse and practical solutions to shape the future of global climate action.
