The Carbon Management Journal

The Greenhouse Gas Management Institute (GHGMI) supports a global research community through its sponsorship and editing of the peer-reviewed journal Carbon Management. It focuses on providing policymakers, industry leaders, practitioners, and academics with forward-looking inquiry and analysis, specifically addressing solutions to critical challenges in greenhouse gas (GHG) measurement, reporting, and verification (MRV), and management. This unique resource is designed to keep you up-to-date on research in the field.

The journal is published quarterly by Taylor & Francis in partnership with the Greenhouse Gas Management Institute. Dr. Michael Gillenwater co-founded the journal and serves as co-editor-in-chief.

Bridging Climate Knowledge & Sustainable Development Goals

Carbon Management is a scholarly, peer-reviewed journal for publishing research studies from the diverse array of disciplines that enhance our understanding of carbon dioxide and other GHG interactions—from biology, ecology, chemistry, and engineering to law, policy, economics, and sociology. The journal has a core aim to examine the options and mechanisms for mitigating the causes and impacts of climate change, which includes mechanisms for reducing emissions and enhancing the removal of GHGs from the atmosphere, as well as metrics used to measure the performance of options and measures resulting from international treaties, domestic policies, local regulations, environmental markets, technologies, industrial efforts, and consumer choices.
